June 1st we celebrated our 13th anniversary.
It also happened to be the first day of winter here in Australia. Can’t say
we’ve ever celebrated our anniversary in winter! It was 100 degrees (in Iowa) on our
wedding day 13 years ago. It was quite a blustery, chilly day, but it was sunny
during lunchtime. We went to lunch at Baveras Brasserie with Lydia while Hannah and
Kiernan were at school. It was great food and good company. After lunch we did some shopping and grabbed a coffee before dropping Barry back at the office.
