Wednesday, April 15th was an exceptionally warm day, so Lydia and I took advantage and went to the beach. We had fun building sandcastles. After school I took the kids up to the Lolly Shop to have ice cream cones. Some locals said it might be the last warm day for awhile. Sure hope that's not true, as the beach is just so much fun!

Barry and I have seen a brushtail possum in our backyard a few times, but never captured a picture. With the days getting shorter and it being darker soon, we were able to capture a snapshot of this one and the kids were able to look at it too! We got really close and the possum just sat there. They are a bit cuter than possums I've seen in the U.S.
